hypertext congruent...

Multimedia hypertext (somewhat ironically and necessarily imperfectly) offers a form of representation congruent with the epistemological and ontological basis of my research (journey). The medium, together with insights acquired through 'readings' of the 'hypertext,' invites readers to pause frequently, stop thinking, and listen beyond the socially constructed human/nature binary. It is an invitation to become re-embedded in a sensuous, communicative, porous and energetically interconnected animate Earth.

In other words, this research and its hypertextual representation provides opportunities to engage similar epistemological and ontological assumptions as the phenomenon being studied (i.e. the porous interconnection between humans and the more-than-human world). In a work that has demanded traversing several ontological 'divides,' the hypertext provides a primary, and experiential, place of congruency.
