exploring marginalization

The music of Watershed Stories, written by David McIntyre (2006c) and sung by the Prairie Pride Chorus <http://www.prairiepridechorus.com/> provided valuable insights into the experience of being marginalized by an often invisible identity marker. As I played the songs over and over as I collaged, listening, I could not help but recognize some of the experiences and processes of coming to speech – and celebration – re-presented in a number of the songs.
